Hey everybody!
Last weekend we flew! On a plane! And we survived! We brought a stroller, a stroller travel case, a carseat, a carseat adapter, bubble wrap to to wrap the carseat, a diaper bag, a baby carrier, a full sized Symphony breast pump (with car adapter), two suitcases, 32 diapers, a package a wipes, 16 bibs, 8 burp cloths, 8 Dr. Brown's bottles, and a baby. Oh and what a weekend it was. The first night we got to the house in Sonoma I told Chris I wanted to go back home. It was just too much change all at once and too overwhelming. But by the second day all was good :)
We traveled up north to celebrate Suzzy and Terry's baby shower and I even got to rub her belly. Sometimes I miss being pregnant... but most of the time I don't.
Unfortunately I spent most of the baby shower eating tacos and then I had to pump and then baby took a nap in my arms so I didn't even get a chance to take a photo with Suzzy and her bump. I was so bummed! I did however manage to eat two slices of cake, a rice krispy treat, a donut, and half of a brownie bite. It was a good day.
It was a beautiful shower (kudos to Mayra and Alli) and it was just really nice spending the weekend in wine country with good friends.
Oh and I am totally relieved that the plane trip went well. Hopefully the 6 hour flight to Boston in the next few months goes just as well. Fingers crossed.
Good night!
