On Saturday we celebrated wedding #8 of 2011. And cut, it's a wrap folks. No more weddings for 2011. The strange thing is, we only have 1 wedding in 2012. Very strange indeed. 2011 will forever be known as the year of the weddings.... baby just kicked right now. I think he's trying to tell me that 2011 should be known as the year of baby Christopher being conceived. Okay okay. 2011 = year of baby Christopher. He's so demanding.
Anyways, the wedding was lovely. The reception was at Roy's and I ordered myself the butterfish. It was delightful in every way. Chris had the filet (not of the fish kind but of the beef kind). Boring. I spent nearly 10 minutes trying to explain to him that Roy's is known for their FISH and that you can get a filet anywhere. Thinking that I had gotten through to him and that I'd be able to take a few bites of his macadamia nut encrusted mahi mahi, he yells out, "Filet! I'll take the filet!" when the waitress came around to take orders.
On Sunday I ran every errand known to mankind. I fought the crowds at Costco and Trader Joe's and Ralph's and Home Goods. I did 4 loads of laundry. I baked a pumpkin bread:
And I even made dinner. I call this beefy cheesy macaroni. Except I used turkey this time.
Oh is this a gourmet dish you ask? I'm flattered. It's basically meat, cheese tomato sauce and macaroni. Combine and bake for 10 minutes. It's delicious.
And now it's time for bed. But I'll leave you with this. Me and baby at 21 weeks. I think it's 21 now. My how time flies.
