This week I flew to Chicago and the landing on my flight there was horrendous. It was turbulent and bumpy and I could see the wings of the plane jolting up and down. I also decided to eat a peanut butter and jelly sandwich right before landing. The plane touched ground and I could feel my stomach turn so I took my time getting off the plane and walking to the airport shuttle. I checked in, no problem and then headed up to my room but as soon as I walked in, I saw the toilet to my left and immediately threw up. I mean, seriously, it was instantaneous. No exaggeration. Toilet then barf. One thing I learned, peanut butter coming back up tastes pretty much the same as peanut butter going down. Unfortunately that means I won't be eating peanut butter anytime soon.
I've actually never thrown up from a bad flight and I've had worse flights so I have a feeling it might have something to do with baby. I don't think he liked that flight too much and I'm really hoping our trip to Boston for Thanksgiving next month goes smoothly.
Oh and today on the way to work, we realized we had a flat tire. I called AAA because Chris said the amount of time it would take him to figure out how to change it and put the spare on, the AAA guy would probably already be here and finished. He was right. 20 minutes later, we were off to Costco to see what they could do. The answer was nothing... except buy 4 new tires so I did. $500 and 2 hours later we were on our way to work. The one good thing out of this ... we had a yummy sushi lunch.
And no, I didn't eat the sushi but I could have sworn the baby was telling me he wanted that piece of salmon.
Tomorrow's Friday!!!
